Inventory Control Specialist

Job Purpose

Support FXI Santa Teresa, NM in the following areas:
Incoming, process, quarantine, customer service and assurance to reach the company objectives through administration of product, process, and personnel, interacting with internal and corporate management teams and customer relations.

• Perform continuous weekly cycle counts throughout various areas in the plant, analyze results, and report recommendations for improvements.
• Use RF scanners to perform periodic scanning into locations.
• Assist and lead teams during weekly and monthly cycle count inventories.
• Perform and report aged inventory audits.
• Perform and report trailer count inventory for month end.
• Stop shipment and production to correct quality problems.
• Maintain awareness of environmental aspects and impacts.
• Report any inconsistency or nonconformance on the product and participate in the corrective/preventive actions process.

Training Plan

• High School and/or Equivalent (desirable).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, general math functions, English reading proficiency desired; successful completion of laboratory pre-certification test.
• Previous inventory control or shipping experience preferred.
