Second Shift Stamp Press Operator

• Run a minimum of two primary stamping press machines simultaneously, ensuring optimal quality and quantity of products.
• Perform all material handling duties required to keep the job productive, safely retrieving materials and returning unused coil/wire stock to storage areas using an electric hand‑cart or fork truck.
• Operate stamping press and other machinery in a safe manner, maintaining excellent housekeeping practices.
• Maintain 6S (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain, safety) standards in all work stations.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• 1–5 years of prior Stamp Press Operator experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions/decimal equivalents).
• Mechanical inclination, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management ability.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Function well in a high‑paced, at times stressful environment and work well with others on a team.
• Solve problems quickly and efficiently; willingness to have performance measured daily.

• Uncontrolled environmental conditions: noise, dust, dirt, and mobile equipment.
• Routine, repetitive lifting up to 35 lbs.; occasional heavy lifting and pushing/pulling 10 lbs. regularly, 1–10 hours per day.
• Standing, bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, feeling, and walking 8–10 hours per day.
• Ability to work up to 8–10 hour shifts and overtime as required.
• Use of all limbs, dexterous and steady use of hands and arms for long periods of time.
• Simultaneous mental and muscular coordination, visual and audio awareness of surrounding area.
