Summary of ResponsibilitiesManages and directs all aspects of project development, funding, construction, testing, equipment installation, schedules, milestones and turnover activities for multiple specified Urenco UUSA construction projects. Function as the main interface with site managers, key stakeholders, and the Urenco Group Projects team to effectively implement the schedules for assigned construction projects. Oversees the validation of vendor contracts compliance associated with multiple assigned project activities.
Interface, as necessary, with European Design Authority and U.S. Design Authority on all matters relating to core and balance of plant design. Accountable for managing large construction projects on the order of a $500k to over $30 million. Direct and manage construction organizations, including contractor oversight to complete assigned projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
-OR- 15 years of related work experience; of which at least 5 years are in a leadership role in project management, engineering, construction, maintenance, or operations in lieu of degree - 10 years of related work experience; of which a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or construction management/engineering
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Master's Degree in Science discipline

- Work Schedule:
Professional work schedule with minimal night/weekend support. Some nights and weekend work may be required. Employees are also subject to call-outs as needed - Travel Required:

Functions
- Oversee the implementation of multiple construction and site project schedules simultaneously by leading and coordinating teams across different organizations.
- Manage capital projects budget up to $30 million within schedule, milestones, and CPM's to completion.
- Work with Procurement to negotiate and finalize vendor contracts for on-going contracts as well as future contracts associated with projects affecting existing and new construction.
- Maintain effective short and long range project schedule compliance on multiple projects at once.
- Effectively communicate organizational support needs working across multiple departments (Engineering assistance, QC assistance, etc.) for maintaining compliance with project schedule.
- Ensure compliance with all necessary procedural requirements to support all projects IAW safety requirements, design requirements, schedule expectations, cost estimates, and quality requirements.
- Manage, track, and present to senior Urenco USA, UTD and executive management indicators for schedule status, cost status, and other items requiring management attention and intervention.
- Serve as a liaison with Urenco Group Projects organization.
- Responsible for cost schedule, safety, quality and production of multiple subcontractors on multiple projects.
- Direct and lead managers, supervisors, engineers and skilled craftsmen in construction, schedules, testing and turnover of buildings, systems and components for multiple plant projects.
- Effectively manage a forward looking, responsive project organization to achieve optimal efficiency in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations and engineering specifications/requirements.
- Lead multiple and varied company projects; which may include but are not limited to capital, expansion, replacement, upgrading or special projects.
