The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for managing the Front Office operations to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service and compliance with corporate/franchiser policies and procedures while exceeding financial goals. This position is responsible for the short-term planning and day-to-day operations of the Front Office Department.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily front desk operations to ensure excellent guest service and compliance with hotel standards
  • Train, schedule, and support front desk staff; monitor performance and assist with onboarding
  • Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Review room inventory, guest accounts, and reports for accuracy
  • Maintain lobby, front desk, and public areas for cleanliness and presentation
  • Manage supplies, key control, and ensure secure cash-handling procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Communicate effectively with the General Manager and assist with projects as assigned
Requirements
  • Be able to manage time effectively, complete required tasks on time
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
  • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by guests
Education & Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Stable work history required
