Raytheon’s Mission Capability and Verification Center (MCVC) located on White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM is seeking a qualified Systems Engineer to join the Sensors and BMCI team to support Radar System level testing and mission system scenarios. Candidates will collaborate with SI&T engineers and customer teams executing our test events.
What You Will Do:- Troubleshoot and repair electronic systems using schematics and standard and specialized test equipment.
- Hands-on operation and maintenance of radar systems.
- Perform analysis and problem-solving of systems issues real-time.
- Work in a rapid-paced, team environment and directly interface with customers and management.
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Experience with electronics, circuitry, RF hardware, and/or schematics as it pertains to troubleshooting and repair of radar systems.
- Experience with electronics, circuitry, schematics, and/or RF hardware.
- Experience working in a fielded and/or tactical environment. subjective preferred.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- A Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Experience with the Patriot Air Defense System and MEIs in the Fire Unit.
- SICO and/or systems upgrades experience for a radar system.
- Familiarity with the
-20 Series TMs. - Experience with RMSS and diagnostics.
- Experience with MATLAB and data analysis.
