Raytheon’s Mission Capability and Verification Center (MCVC) located on White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM is seeking a qualified Systems Engineer to join the Sensors and BMCI team to support Radar System level testing and mission system scenarios. Candidates will collaborate with SI&T engineers and customer teams executing our test events.

What You Will Do:
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic systems using schematics and standard and specialized test equipment.
  • Hands‑on operation and maintenance of radar systems.
  • Perform analysis and problem‑solving of systems issues real‑time.
  • Work in a rapid‑paced, team environment and directly interface with customers and management.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience with electronics, circuitry, RF hardware, and/or schematics as it pertains to troubleshooting and repair of radar systems.
  • Experience working in a fielded and/or tactical environment.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Experience with the Patriot Air Defense System and MEIs in the Fire Unit.
  • SICO and/or systems upgrades experience for a radar system.
  • Familiarity with the 9‑1430‑2601‑20 Series TMs.
  • Experience with RMSS and diagnostics.
  • Experience with MATLAB and data analysis.

Salary range: $68,900 USD – $131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
