Position Summary
The
UNM-Valencia Campus is seeking candidates for temporary, part-time faculty to
teach Anthropology courses. This will be a Fall 2026
recruitment.
Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia
county, the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch
campus of the University of New Mexico which functions as a community college
in the region and is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an
emphasis on teaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer
programs, technical vocational programs, Adult Education, and Dual Credit High
School/College courses to Valencia and Socorro.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's
degree in Anthropology
Preferred Qualifications:
- At
least one year of experience teaching at a post-secondary institution - Experience
and/or certification to teach online - A
demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and
varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's
mission to serve local and global communities
