The Assistant Preschool Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in implementing curriculum, supervising children, and maintaining a safe, organized, and engaging classroom. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and eager to contribute to a collaborative teaching team.

• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum.
• Engage children in play, exploration, and learning while modeling positive behavior and social interactions.
• Assist with daily routines such as meals, rest time, diapering and transitions.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with children, families, and colleagues.
• Follow licensing regulations, FOCUS standards, and school policies at all times.
• Support children’s individual needs, including developmental milestones and social-emotional growth.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; CDA or college coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A genuine love for working with children and supporting their growth.
• Must be able to pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
