Locum Tenens Radiologist Opportunity - Diagnostic Imaging Excellence
A leading medical center in New Jersey is seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist for an immediate and ongoing locum tenens assignment.
This role offers a dynamic work environment alongside a collaborative team of Radiologists and support staff.
Positions Highlights:
Start Date : ASAP
Schedule :
Weekdays and weekends Day shift : 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Evening Shift : 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Occasional weekend availability required
On-Call: None
Patient Volume :
Approximately 440 studies daily; monthly average 13,200
Team Structure :
Work alongside 6-7 radiologists on weekdays and 2-3 on weekends
Clinical Responsibilities :
Interpret a variety of imaging modalities, including:
CT
MRI
Ultrasound
Preliminary Reads
CT perfusion studies
Perform upper GI procedures (approximately 10 per week)
Nuclear medicine capabilities preferred but not mandatory
Support and Environment:
Collaborative work with a team of radiologists
Assistance from hospital-employed support staff and modality supervisor
Advanced Practice Providers on staff (locum not responsible for supervision)
EMR System: Epic
Qualifications :
Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
Eligible for licensure in New Jersey
Proficient in interpreting CT, MRI, and ultrasound studies
Expertise with upper GI procedures
Nuclear Medicine experience is a plus
