A critical access hospital serving northern New Mexico with a strong commitment to compassionate, community-focused care is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. The facility offers a range of inpatient and outpatient services in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
About the Facility LocationThis facility is located in Taos, New Mexico, a scenic mountain town known for its rich culture, historic charm, and outdoor recreation. The hospital serves the local community with compassionate care in a peaceful, high-desert setting.
About the Clinician’s WorkdayThe schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with call from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. every third night and a 20-minute response requirement. This is an all-CRNA practice covering a variety of cases, including Endo, OB, GYN, Pediatrics, General, Vascular, Orthopedics, ENT, Acute Pain, and outpatient surgeries. CRNAs must be proficient in spinals, blocks, and epidurals, and provide caselog proof of these procedures.
During the day, there are four providers covering three ORs, and the facility uses the Med Axion EMR system.
