Arc Health is actively seeking skilled a Internal Medicine physician (Hospitalist) to join us in providing care at the Shiprock Service Unit (SRSU) in Shiprock, NM. Four Corners Regional Health Center and Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Health Center . The facility provides comprehensive care, including primary care, pediatrics, labor and delivery, intensive care, family practice, urgent care, mental health, dental, and more.
- Level IV Trauma Center:
The Emergency Department (ED) is certified as a Level IV trauma center and as "Peds Ready" by the New Mexico Emergency Medical Services for Children and the University of New Mexico Child Ready Program, ensuring excellent emergency care for pediatric patients. - Broad Scope of Care:
Inpatient and outpatient services include medical-surgical, pediatric care, intensive care, women's health, pharmacy, optometry, dental, radiology, and public health nursing.
Position Details:
- Schedule
: 4 10
-hour shifts;
Mon - Friday. Weeknight and weekend calls - Duration
: 6-12 months of coverage, potential to extend - EMR: RPMS
- Manage Hospitalized Internal Medicine patients, to include admissions, discharges, transfers, and rounding
- Provide Internal Medicine consultation to patients admitted for other services, in the Emergency Room or in other Outpatient settings
- Manage critical care patents in the intensive care unit, including patients requiring vasopressors or ventilator support
- Perform bedside procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis and central line placements
- Will manage a census of 5 - 14 inpatients and 1 to 5 admissions per shift
- Board certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- Completed residency training
- Valid and unrestricted state license and DEA
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience must have recent experience managing ICU patients
- Valid state driver s license
- Ability to meet health requirements and pass background checks
- Clean NPDP report
