Dental Hygienist

Las Clinicas Del Norte (LCDN), invites licensed Dental Hygienist to apply for position(s) at Las Clinicas del Norte.

LCDN is a qualified a federally designated Frontier Community Health Center/Medically Underserved Area allowing providers to access both state and federal loan repayment programs. LCDN's mission is to provide culturally competent care to the underserved and medically indigent patients in a remote part of northern New Mexico. LCDN operates three clinic sites in Abiquiu, Ojo Caliente, and El Rito, all strategically located to provide maximum access to the area's rural residents as well as school-based health services.

Position will be remote but will require occasional reporting to El Rito Clinic in person.

El Rito is 60 miles from Santa Fe, NM; 55 miles West of Taos, NM and 120 miles South of Pagosa Springs, CO all well-known tourist destinations and excellent recreation and ski areas.

Promotes dental health by completing dental prophylaxis; providing oral cancer screening, radiographic studies; charting restorations, periodontal packet measurements; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act; gathering and updating patient information.

• Demonstrate competence in preparing client documentation in accordance with generally accepted clinical standards
