Salary: Up to $22.00 per hour

La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is a FQHC providing comprehensive health services in Southern New Mexico. We are looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to support our dental team by performing semi‑technical dental and routine clerical tasks, assisting the dentist during examinations and treatments, and maintaining a safe and organized clinic environment.

Performs semi‑technical dental and routine clerical work under the supervision of the dentist, assisting during examinations, treatment, sterilizing instruments, operating X‑rays, and ensuring standard procedures are followed.

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Knowledge of key dental procedures including sterilization, X‑ray techniques, and accurate posting of patient treatments
• Familiarity with dental instruments and their use
• Understanding of OSHA guidelines as they apply to dental practices
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• High degree of confidentiality, organization, and attention to detail
• Self‑initiative, adaptability, and ability to take direction

• High School Diploma and at least six months of experience in a dental office, with completion of a dental assisting training course
• Certification as a Dental Assistant in New Mexico;
  New Mexico radiology certification required
• Current New Mexico X‑Ray Certification (or ability to obtain within six months of employment)
• Pass a criminal background check; maintain a current driver’s license and clean driving record
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
