- Senior level procurement professional responsible for all commercial aspects of the acquisition of goods and services within a defined category of spend for UUSA operations at the local/site level, supporting the Site's goals of safety, people, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with relevant customers/stakeholders and the Procurement Manager to develop and execute customer-aligned and integrated category plans.
- Support development of and mentor other contributors in technical procurement matters and processes.
- Develop and deliver long-term sustainable value from external spend within defined category of expenditure, in alignment with Group plans.
- As a member of a global category team, contribute to the development and execution of the category plan and related projects to derive value from the supply chain and disseminate best practices within URENCO.
- Lead the development of medium to long term UUSA Category Plans to provide clarity on vision, strategy, and implementation processes ensuring value delivery (lower costs, mitigated risk, supply assurance) through understanding of business requirements, market dynamics, and TCO impacts.
- Implement effective and sustainable supplier management programs and manage significant and complex contracts and contract amendments in accordance with URENCO policies to drive value.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, business partners, and senior leaders to gain support for sourcing projects and the category plan, driving savings and performance improvement.
- Implement category and contract KPIs to manage reporting and ensure optimal performance of contractors and suppliers.
- Develop and mentor other individual contributors in the technical procurement process and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field and 10+ years of experience in procurement/supply chain management.
- Professional credentials: CPM, CPSM, or CIPS.
- Preferred skills include excellent written and verbal communication, mentorship ability, and strong presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software; SAP (or equivalent ERM) skills required; experience with Provalido preferred.
- Strong process controls experience.
- Locations:
Fort Worth, Texas, or Eunice, NM. - Work Schedule:
Professional with minimal night/weekend support; some nights/weekend work and call-outs may be required. - Work Arrangement:
Hybrid role; 2-3 days per week in the office based on business need; remote remainder. - Travel: 20% or less based on business needs; if based in Fort Worth, 25% travel (about 1 week per month) to the main site in Eunice, NM.
- Other travel up to 20% based on business needs.

- Coordinate with Group Category Management Teams to share best practices and align UUSA plans with Group plans.
- Lead development of medium to long-term UUSA Category Plans to provide vision, strategy, and implementation processes with a focus on value delivery.

- Lead development, review, negotiation, execution, management, and documentation of significant contracts and amendments per URENCO policies to drive value.

CompensationCompensation starting at: $130,383 - $162,979/year and up dependent on candidate.
