Accountant, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections, Financial Reporting

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant to join our team and help keep our financial records accurate, organized, and up to date. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

This role requires proficiency in accounting software, and a strong understanding of accounting principles. The accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health of our organization.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
• Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
• Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with payroll processing and tax filings
• Monitor cash flow and budget tracking
• Collaborate with accountants and auditors as needed
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for account reconciliation tasks

• Proven experience as an accountant or similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Epicore, Sage) and Excel
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Construction accounting experience a plus (Draw sheets, Waivers, etc.)
