Job Description & How to Apply Below

Walker Family Veterinary Hospital is a family-owned, veteran-owned hospital dedicated to providing compassionate, modern, high-quality care. We're looking for a motivated Associate Veterinarian (with ownership potential) who values teamwork, client/patient relationships, and a positive work environment.

As an Associate Veterinarian at WFVH, you will provide comprehensive medical care to our patients, including physical exams, diagnostics, treatment planning, and routine surgical and dental procedures.

You'll work closely with a team of skilled CVTs and support staff who value communication and collaboration. A strong focus on client education, compassionate care, and maintaining accurate records is essential. Beyond clinical duties, you'll help support and contribute to our positive, family-centered culture - an environment built on teamwork, respect, and a shared passion for veterinary medicine. Mentorship is available for new graduates, and experienced veterinarians will enjoy the autonomy and trust that come with our supportive practice structure.

This position offers competitive compensation of up to $ annually, including monthly commissions. Our benefits package includes supplemental health benefits and an allowance for health insurance. Paid time off, paid holidays, CE allowance, 401(k), and full licensing and dues reimbursement are provided to support your professional and personal well-being. Staff members enjoy employee pet care discounts and access to our modern medical equipment, including digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, therapeutic and surgical laser technology, and in-house diagnostics.

We pride ourselves on a warm, team-focused environment that prioritizes work-life balance and long-term career growth. Relocation and Tuition Reimbursement is also open for discussion for the right candidate.

Candidates must hold a DVM or VMD degree and be eligible for veterinary licensure in Wisconsin. Strong communication skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team are essential. We welcome both new graduates and experienced veterinarians who are committed to delivering excellent medical care and building lasting client relationships.
