Overview
New London Hospital is seeking an experienced and energetic BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join our Primary Care practice. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing acute and preventive care as well as chronic disease management for patients of all ages in a growing primary care practice. The candidate will be fully supported by experienced nurses, medical assistants and care coordinators to provide team-based care that is grounded by evidence-based best practices.
This practice provides comprehensive care and is deeply rooted in the local community. Located at the recently renovated main campus of New London Hospital, this practice has seamless access to the hospital campus and its specialty services.

The hospital is associated with the teaching hospital, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and the Geisel School of Medicine. Primary and some secondary care services are offered at the Newport Health Center in Newport, NH.

The community of New London is a picturesque town in the Lake Sunapee region in central New Hampshire. NH offers no income or sales tax. This position is currently eligible for H-1B Visa sponsorship for the right candidate.
Responsibilities- Provide acute and preventive care as well as chronic disease management for patients of all ages
- Deliver team-based care supported by experienced nurses, medical assistants and care coordinators
- Collaborate with colleagues to build strong patient relationships and provide continuous and comprehensive care
- Graduate of a four (4) year accredited medical school or equivalent required
- Board certification or eligible, as appropriate to the position, required
- Unrestricted and current license to practice medicine in the State of NH required
- Current DEA
