• Standards of Practice: RN practice guided by ANA Scope and Standards of Practice (2015). The RN uses the nursing process components of assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Standards of Professional Performance: RN expected to engage in professional role activities including ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation and resource utilization.
• May assist and/or perform chaperone duties for patient medical procedures as needed.

• Education:
  
  Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience:
  
  Registered Nurse is the foundational job description for all RNs.
• License:
  Licensed and a currently registered nurse in the State of employment.
• Physical Demand:
  Requires prolonged standing; walking; use of sight, hearing, and touch. May be exposed to infectious diseases. Must be able to assist pushing/pulling/lifting patients ranging from five (5) to three hundred (300) pounds.
