Digital Enterprise – Program Management Oversight Supervisor

This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Digital Enterprise (DE), D405. The supervisor oversees the planning and execution of Electric Boat’s digital capability development to support the digital transformation plan for both current and future submarine programs. The role leads a team of approximately two direct reports and provides direction to representatives throughout the Business Areas and EBIT.

Overview

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Digital transformation funding, resource planning, and execution performance oversight
  • Directorate Commitment and Overhead management
  • Working collaboratively in a team environment and interfacing with various design and engineering departments, IT, operations, planning, purchasing, subcontractors including Newport News Shipbuilding, and NAVSEA
  • Development of personnel through training and mentoring, preservation of critical technical skills and knowledge, cost and schedule management as well as performance and resource management

The successful candidate will be customer-focused and have excellent project management and communication skills. They will also have a high-level understanding of Electric Boat design/build/maintenance processes and demonstrate experience managing people with a focus on creating a very high‑performing organization, leading and/or supervising teams, managing complex projects, and providing clear direction to motivate and develop team members.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4+ years of experience in DE, EBIT, Program Office, and/or Process Improvement
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Experience with manpower planning, performance management, progressing, commitment, and quality reporting systems
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the Department of Defense

Preferred

  • Experience working with Teamcenter, and/or Active Workspace
  • BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related technical degree
  • Experience mentoring, coaching and professionally developing employees
  • Experience managing cross‑organizational projects
  • Experience collaborating with business leaders to resolve complex issues and challenging problems
