As a Long-term Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to grade 2 students, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher.
Responsibilities- Facilitate student learning concepts and skills for Grade 2
- Implement lesson plans and adapt as necessary to meet student needs
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with school staff to support student learning and development
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or Haitian Creole
- Terms of Employment: Duration of Teacher’s Absence
- Location: Winthrop STEM Elementary Magnet School
