- 16-20ppd with light, shared phone-call responsibilities with regional group (5x/year)

- Evaluate patients, and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests
- Involve patients and families in care and treatment decisions
- Create treatment plans and complete orders in patient charts
- Collaborate on improvements in care delivery and service with staff, other physicians and management
- Initiate appropriate specialty referrals
- Provide clinical information to the interdisciplinary team in a clear and timely manner
- Ensure proper patient documentation is timely, accurate and complete
- Work with practice management to ensure compliance with billing, coding and CPT code assignment
- Achieve and maintain optimal patient access
- Provide interdepartmental medical consultation as requested
- Participate in the development of medical protocols, standard procedures and management of patient care workflows
- Degree of MD or DO with ABIM‑recognized internal medicine residency (three years minimum) or ABFM‑recognized family medicine residency (three years minimum)
- Valid American Board certification in either internal medicine or family medicine and renewed prior to expiration;
Valid and unrestricted New York medical license; BLS certification;
Valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate (or in the process of obtaining)
