The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.

Surgical Services is seeking a qualified
** Registry Level 3 Surgical Nurse
** to support the department during high‐volume periods, weekends, call shifts, and holidays. This role requires a strong clinical skill set, flexibility, and the ability to function independently within a fast‐paced surgical environment.###
** Key Responsibilities
*** Provide direct perioperative nursing care in accordance with AORN standards and department policies.
* Support staffing needs including weekends, call coverage, and holiday rotations.
* Demonstrate competency across multiple surgical specialties or the ability to achieve competency within a defined time frame.
* Maintain effective communication with the surgical team to ensure patient safety, efficiency, and adherence to regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with full‐time staff to support continuity of care, workflow, and departmental operations.###
** Requirements
* ** Current Illinois RN license required.
* Minimum one year of RN operating room experience
* or*    – Prior registry surgical nurse experience
* or*    – The ability to train full‐time until competency is achieved.
* Must be willing and able to meet all scheduling expectations, including:  +
** Weekend shifts
** as assigned  +
** Call coverage
** during designated times  +
** Holiday rotation
*** Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
* Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
