The L&D RN cares for women during labor and childbirth, monitors the baby and the mother, coaches mothers, and assists doctors. The RN will prepare women and their families for the stages of giving birth and will help patients with breastfeeding after the baby is born.
The Birthing Center averages 200 births per month.
Requirement description :
- 1 year of recent L&D experience
- REQUIRED - Active IL License at time of submission
- REQUIRED - IL Nurse agency license in submittal profile
- REQUIRED - Must be fully COVID vaccinated
- REQUIRED - BLS, NRP, and ACLS
- REQUIRED - Travel experience
- Preferred
You MUST include your Illinois Nurse Agency license up front with all IL facility nursing need submissions. This license is required by the state of IL in order to staff for temporary needs.
