Responsible for assessing the physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients within the assigned unit and planning nursing care accordingly. Ensures nursing care plans are implemented through direct care and leadership of support staff. Performs ongoing patient evaluations, documents patient progress, coordinates treatment plans, and completes discharge planning.
