Job Opportunity Position Overview

This role is instrumental in the field of interventional radiology, utilizing advanced radiological technology to deliver minimally invasive interventional techniques. The position offers the opportunity to impact patient care positively through reduced recovery times, lower costs, and improved patient comfort.

• Act as the first point of contact for patient referrals and consultations.
• Conduct initial patient examinations and assessments.
• Provide recommendations to the referring physician, patient, and their families, collaborating closely with the interventional radiologist.
• Perform daily rounds and effectively communicate patient progress to the medical team and radiologist.

This position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients.

• Cardiac catheterization
• Eletrophysiology (EP) ablations
• Peripheral angiograms
• Cerebral angiograms
• Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) / Cardioversions

• Minimum of 2 years of current experience in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology.
• Experience in providing moderate sedation.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations are required; declines will not be accepted.
• Active nursing license in the state of Illinois.
• Prior travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Cerner software is preferred.

This position involves 10-hour shifts during the day, totaling 91 contract days.
