Private Practice Breast Imaging Opportunity In New Lenox, Illinois

Central Illinois Radiological Associates (CIRA) is seeking a dedicated onsite breast imaging radiologist to join our growing team. The position is based at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, Illinois. The position collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of breast cancer providers specializing in breast surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology and other specialty areas providing individualized care. This is a great opportunity to practice quality medicine with a team of dedicated, collegial and supportive breast imagers.

• Interpret screening and diagnostic mammograms.
• Perform and interpret breast ultrasound, breast MRI and ABUS.
• Participate in ultrasound- and MRI-guided breast procedures.
• Collaborate through our enterprise worklist solution to seek additional breast imaging services throughout the CIRA footprint as needed.
• Optional and customizable additional diagnostic imaging responsibilities based on the candidate’s experience and interests.
• Work schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday with rotating weekend schedule of reading breast imaging studies from home; no general radiology call responsibilities.
• The position utilizes Hologic imaging equipment and reads on Mammo Plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate relationships with hospital partners, clinicians, employees and patients.
