Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Architectural Team Leader located in the Urbana-Champaign area. The Architectural Team Leader will oversee project planning and execution, provide leadership to project teams, and manage client relationships. Responsibilities include leading architectural design processes, utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of projects. The candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards and fostering collaboration within the team to achieve successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
- 9+ years of combined education & experience OR a Master of Architecture + 2 years’ office experience
- Able to manage small to medium projects independently
- Proficiency in Architecture and Architectural Design, with a strong portfolio of successfully delivered projects
- Experience in Project Management and Team Leadership to effectively oversee and guide project teams
- Expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM), with knowledge of relevant tools and technologies
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in an on-site, collaborative environment
- Professional architectural licensure is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with construction and project phasing processes is an advantage
