Job Description & How to Apply Below

Imagine your day at Re:

Build
Its 7:00 AM. You open the CMMS, sort overnight work orders, and huddle briefly with your technicians to set priorities. Operations calls a vacuum pump is tripping; you grab your meter, isolate the fault in the control circuit, and get production back online. By mid-morning, youre walking the plant checking compressed air, chilled water, and process ventilation while a vendor you oversee replaces a worn actuator on a critical utility.

After lunch, you review preventive maintenance intervals on compressors and electrical distribution panels, adjust the PM schedule, and order critical spares to protect uptime. Before you leave, you document an energy-saving idea for air handling, schedule a safety inspection, and close out the days work orders all while coaching your team and coordinating with Operations to minimize downtime.

What youll lead and do
  • Direct daily maintenance activity: assign work, guide technicians, coordinate with Operations, and drive on-time completion of CMMS work orders.
  • Diagnose and repair multi-disciplinary systems: electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment that supports production.
  • Own preventive maintenance: build and refine PM schedules for facility and production-support assets (e.g., compressors, electrical distribution, IT-supporting infrastructure).
  • Protect uptime: respond rapidly to equipment failures, triage issues, and marshal resources to shorten downtime.
  • Manage vendors and contractors: oversee specialized repairs, upgrades, and inspections to OSHA/EPA and plant safety standards.
  • Inspect facilities: monitor building conditions, utilities, life-safety systems, and environmental controls.
  • Maintain spares and tools: control inventory of critical parts, consumables, and tooling to keep operations uninterrupted.
  • Ensure compliance: follow OSHA, EPA, and site policies; support audits and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Drive improvement: recommend process enhancements, energy savings, and reliability upgrades.
What you bring
  • 5+ years maintaining facilities and building systems in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
  • Broad know-how across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic domains.
  • CMMS proficiency for work orders, PMs, and asset tracking.
  • Experience leading technicians or acting as a team lead in a plant environment.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and OEM manuals.
  • Familiarity with compressed air, vacuum, chilled water, and process ventilation utilities.
  • Helpful credentials: HVAC, electrical, welding, or OSHA 30.
  • Comfort with physical work: lifting, climbing, and working on the production floor.
Work setting
  • Full-time, on-site role within a manufacturing facility.
  • Regular exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and temperature variation.
  • Occasional on-call or off-shift support during shutdowns or emergencies.
