General Laborer for our Saw/Seal division. This position is an essential part of our crew, performing a variety of manual tasks to support various construction activities. This is a physically demanding job that requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work as part of a team. • Ability to perform physical labor activities which includes, but is not limited to, lifting, pulling, pushing, and/or carrying different types of objects/materials.
• Perform tasks which may include concrete cutting, joint taping/backer rodding, joint rehab, and crack sealing highways, runways, and parking lots.
• Ability to use or learn how to use different hand and power tools.

• Exposed to risk of accident and/or unpleasant elements (e.g., extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, loud noises, heights, uneven work surfaces, and hazardous substances).
• Will be required to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy items and materials.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, and crawl for extended periods or when needed.
• Ability to effectively communicate in, and understand, English.
• Required to utilize personal protective equipment (e.g., hard hat, safety glasses & boots) at appropriate times.

• Must be available to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends).
• Willingness to travel for extended periods of time.

• High school diploma or equivalent - Preferred.
• Valid driver's license - Required.

• Prior experience as a laborer or equivalent experience - Preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude - Preferred.

• Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screens & background check, including MVR.
• Must be in a union or be willing to join a union.
