We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in New Kensington, PA. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong accounting and administrative skills to contribute to day-to-day financial operations. Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage invoice processing, ensuring all documentation is complete and properly filed.
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Utilize Peachtree Accounting Software for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Support purchasing activities, including order tracking and vendor communications.
- Assist in maintaining organized financial documentation and records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Address discrepancies in financial records and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare periodic financial reports as requested by management.
Requirements - Previous experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Familiarity with invoice processing and related documentation.
- Working knowledge of Peachtree Accounting Software.
- Experience in purchasing activities, including vendor management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and vendors.
