Overview

Job Title: Material Handler – 2nd Shift
Location: Branchburg, NJ 08876
Pay rate: $18.00 - $21.60
Work schedule: 2nd Shift – 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

The Material Handler supports warehouse and logistics operations by performing both physical and administrative tasks related to receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This role ensures inventory accuracy, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and efficient material flow to support site operations.

• Inspect and verify incoming materials against purchase orders or invoices and prioritize distribution to appropriate departments
• Operate material handling equipment to store, relocate, consolidate, and replenish materials
• Perform cycle counts and inspections to ensure accuracy of quantities, lot numbers, and expiration dates
• Pick, consolidate, and pack materials according to order requirements
• Process returned goods per established procedures
• Load and unload trailers in compliance with DOT regulations
• Transport materials within the facility and support local pickup or delivery as assigned
• Utilize SAP for inventory tracking, labeling, and issuing materials
• Maintain required logs and documentation
• Follow OSHA, DOT, GMP, and corporate safety procedures, including handling of hazardous materials when applicable
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Less than 1 year of experience in warehousing, distribution, or material handling
• Experience handling hazardous materials preferred
• Familiarity with SAP, OSHA, DOT, IATA, and GMP standards is a plus
• Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as required
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on assignment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work overtime as business needs require
