Concrete Truck Driver

Approximately $33.40/hour (base and yardage bonus gross estimate)

• Maintain the highest standard of quality and safety while ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of concrete.
• Operate an 80,000 lbs ready‑mix truck in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections per DOT guidelines; document and request required repairs as needed.
• Load and pour concrete using ladders, main chutes and extension chutes, and navigate areas with heavy pedestrian and equipment traffic.
• Maintain delivery, truck and driving records in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Read delivery tickets and communicate with dispatch regarding all deliveries.
• Wash residual concrete and materials from all areas of the truck and barrel.

• Valid commercial driver’s license CDL‑A or CDL‑B and a valid DOT Medical Card.
• Pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Ability to work a variable schedule, with start times between 12:00 am and 9:00 am, and call in to the plant at 4/5 pm daily.
• 1 year of preferred driving experience.

• See details of objects less than a few feet away.
• Use muscles to jump, sprint, or throw objects.
• Use muscles for extended periods of time.
• Be physically active for long periods.
• Determine from which direction a sound came.
• See differences between colors, shades, and brightness.
