This is an active, hands‑on driving position that requires physical stamina and engagement throughout your workday. You won't just be sitting behind the wheel you'll be actively securing, transporting, and unloading specialty building materials. This role combines professional driving skills with warehouse work, customer service, and physical labor.

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

• Secure materials: Physically handle and carefully secure building materials (laminates, plywood, solid surfaces) onto the truck, ensuring safe transport
• Safe transportation: Drive commercial vehicles to deliver materials from our warehouse to customer locations across Northern New Jersey & New York
• Customer delivery and unloading: Work directly with customers at delivery sites, assisting with unloading processes and ensuring materials arrive in perfect condition
• Vehicle inspections and maintenance: Perform thorough pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, verify cargo is properly secured, and maintain accurate logs of vehicle repair status and working hours
• Safety compliance: Follow all safety procedures for cargo transport, adhere to traffic laws, and maintain compliance with DOT regulations

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. regularly throughout your shift
• Physical stamina for loading, securing, and unloading materials multiple times per day
• Capability to work in varying weather conditions
• Mental focus and physical endurance during long driving shifts combined with manual labor

• Valid CDL (Commercial Drivers License) with clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
• Must pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
• Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no major violations
• Skilled at driving, backing, and parking large commercial vehicles in tight spaces
• Experience with route planning, GPS navigation, and map reading

• Alert, focused, and detail‑oriented with strong safety awareness
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
• Self‑starter who works well independently and as part of a team
• Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
• High level of composure and ability to handle stressful situations calmly
