Location: Wickatunk

Collier Middle and High School seeks a School Social Worker to join our team in Wickatunk, NJ. Must have a School Social Worker Certification.

Responsibilities:
  • Case management
  • Participation in IEP and other meetings
  • Facilitate support groups
  • Link students and their families with community resources, as needed
  • Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, back-to-school night, and other school functions and events
  • Work closely with school districts' child study team
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to assist with social-emotional and behavioral need
  • Comply with IEP rules and regulations
  • Develop intervention plans for student
  • Work closely with teachers and administration on methods to enhance students' abilities
Qualifications:
  • Must have an LCSW (required)
  • Must have a School Social Worker certification (required)
  • Experience working with at-risk youth
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
Hours:

8:00-3:30 - Monday-Friday from September to June following the school calendar.

Salary Rate: $55,000 - $60,000
