Wood Haven is an Intensive Residential Treatment program for boys ages 15-19.
We are seeking flexible days and hours for our program.
ResponsibilitiesDuties include but are not limited to:
- Supervise, organize, and support recreational and/or socialization activities
- Play an active role in leading the milieu staff through youth’s structured routine while collaborating with youth’s case manager, clinician, and prescriber
- Engage and interact with youth based on behavioral intervention plans
- Observe, document, and acknowledge positive behaviors
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor level degree in a related social service field (Psychology, Sociology, Education, Public Health, etc.), Psychology preferred. Preference to those interested in enrolling in an MSW program, to achieve growth within the agency.
High school diploma with 3 years or more experience working with youth in a behavioral or group setting.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Wood Haven is a program of Youth Consultation Service (YCS), which is a behavioral health and social services agency that has been caring for at risk children and families since 1918 in therapeutic residences, special education schools, in-home and in-community programs throughout NJ.
