Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM + on-call for weekends & holidays

is seeking a skilled 1st Class Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of a large-scale facility.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, instrumentation, and control systems
Troubleshoot using P&IDs, loop drawings, motor schematics, and control logic (PLC/DCS)
Maintain turbine generator controls and power generation equipment
Document maintenance activities, repairs, and part requisitions
Mentor junior techs and travel to sister sites as needed
Promote safety and use proper PPE at all times
Respond to emergencies, including on-call assignments
Must Haves
5+ years
in industrial or power plant E&I maintenance
or
2+ years as a 2nd Class E&I TechnicianStrong understanding of
electrical systems, instrumentation, and process controlProficient in reading and troubleshooting
PLC/DCS logicComfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in physically demanding conditions
Must possess or be able to obtain required licenses or certifications per federal/state guidelines
Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)
OSHA 30
CertificationNCCER Electrical/Instrumentation
or
ISA CCSTcredentialsForklift and manlift certifications
Confined Space Entry
and
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)trainingExperience with SCBA, fire suppression tools, or hazardous materials PPE
Work Environment
You’ll move throughout the facility, climb ladders, work on elevated platforms, and enter confined spaces. You’ll operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and fire suppression equipment, and wear PPE daily including respirators and flame-resistant gear.

Compensation:
$96,000 per year
