We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to work outdoors in a team environment, ensuring safety and quality on paving, sports court and construction projects.

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will operate and maintain heavy equipment, follow safety protocols, and deliver precision and accuracy on all job sites.

• Competitive hourly wage: $20.00-$28.00 per hour (Prevailing wage opportunities).

• Assist skilled workers as assigned.
• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, following job specifications.
• Maintain equipment through inspections, preventive maintenance and proper care.
• Stay constantly aware of surroundings, co‑workers and any trucks/equipment on the job site.
• Adhere to company safety guidelines and wear PPE as required.
• Interpret and complete projects based on job site plans and surveys.
• Clean job site at the end of the day, ensuring proper disposal of trash and storage of materials/equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to maintain equipment and conduct routine maintenance.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and successful background check may be required.

• Remain stationary, standing or sitting for prolonged periods occasionally.
• Move frequently across the job site, lifting objects up to 20 pounds constantly, 50 pounds occasionally.
• Operate heavy equipment constantly; travel regionally or nationally rarely.
• Communicate verbally and hear well; visual acuity for close and long‑distance tasks.
• Use ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and equipment frequently.

• Light work moving objects up to 20 pounds: constantly.
• Medium work moving objects up to 50 pounds: occasionally.
• Heavy work moving objects over 100 pounds: never.

• Outdoor environment with variable temperatures.
• Exposure to precipitation, wind, and noise.
• Shift work may include overnight hours and occasional overtime including weekends.
• Hazardous conditions occasionally.
