As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, document observations, and respond to concerns with a service-first mindset.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout auto sales, service, and parking areas, including building exterior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access points and vehicle entry lanes, verify authorized access as directed by site policy, and assist with visitor and vendor check-in and/or directions.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when required.

+ Complete shift activity logs and incident reports, document observations, and communicate updates to the oncoming officer and site contacts.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

+ Have customer service experience preferred.

+ Have loss prevention experience preferred.

+ Have a guard card and/or license preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
