Security Officer – Manheim Auto Auction (Bordentown, NJ)Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Environment: Auto Auction / Logistics Facility
Schedule: Outdoor work, guard booth duties, and mobile patrols
Come work for Securitas at our client site in Bordentown, NJ. Looking for dependable and motivated Security Officers to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic while maintaining a professional presence in a fast‑paced, outdoor logistics environment.
Position OverviewAs a Security Officer, you will help ensure the safety and security of our busy auto‑auction facility. You will work both inside a guard booth and outdoors on patrol, monitoring activity, assisting employees and visitors, and protecting client personnel and property.
Responsibilities- Ensure Safety: Observe and report activities, incidents, and any safety concerns on site.
- Protect Property: Safeguard client property, vehicles, and personnel through active monitoring and patrol.
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking
- Navigating uneven or outdoor terrain
- Working in various weather conditions
- Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to climb steps and move throughout large areas of the facility
- Compliance:
- Hold a valid SORA card or be able to obtain one (company can provide guidance).
We are seeking individuals who are:
- Reliable and punctual
- Accountable and professional
- Strong communicators with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone).
- Must have a reliable means of transportation (Driver's License with clean driving record)
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
- Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- 7 years of employment verification
