As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Liaison in Swedesboro, NJ
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and unusual activity, document observations, and provide customer-focused service through clear communication.

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including assisting with de‑escalation, reporting, and coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor access points and common areas, observe for irregular activity, and report hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports using site forms and/or electronic systems.

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
