What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to client personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Control access to an aerospace and defense location by verifying identification, managing visitor entry, and coordinating with client contacts for authorization and badging requirements.
* Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, loading areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
* Monitor cameras, alarm systems, and other security-related equipment; report suspicious activity, alarms, or irregular conditions per post orders.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, and facility-related issues, and request additional support as needed.
* Complete detailed security-related reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, including escalation to site leadership when required.
* Support controlled deliveries and contractor access by confirming work authorization, directing vehicles and pedestrians, and maintaining required entry records.
* Perform security-related checks of doors, gates, and restricted areas; report unsecured access points, damaged barriers, or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
* Provide escorts for visitors, contractors, and/or employees when required by site policy, maintaining professionalism and clear communication.
* Participate in drills and follow emergency procedures for events such as fire alarms, power outages, and severe weather, coordinating with on-site teams and public responders as directed.
Minimum Requirements:
* An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
* CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
* A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
