As a Security Officer - Bank Alarm Dispatcher in Whitehouse Station, NJ
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatcher Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity across assigned areas, and guide officer response to incidents and service requests. You will help document events, maintain clear radio and phone updates, and deliver customer-focused support to staff and visitors.

- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a financial institution location by carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures, access control processes, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Operate the dispatch function by monitoring alarms, cameras, and building systems, triaging incoming calls and radio traffic, and coordinating officer responses per post orders.
- Document and communicate incident details using dispatch logs and required reporting tools, escalating to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear directions to responding personnel and coordinating notifications to local first responders when required.
- Assist with visitor management by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials when applicable, and directing guests to the appropriate areas while following location policies.
- Support cash handling and critical asset movement protocols by coordinating escorts and/or controlled access requests as directed by site procedures and management.
- Monitor restricted areas and key control processes through approved systems, reporting irregularities and requesting response as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including interior and exterior areas as assigned, noting hazards and maintenance concerns for follow-up through the proper channels.
- Assist with emergency procedures such as evacuation, shelter in place, and lockdown coordination, including communicating instructions to staff and visitors per location plans.
- Provide professional customer service while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and following financial institution compliance requirements during routine operations and incident response.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
