Barrington, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct regular patrols, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a secure environment.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain an orderly flow of people and vehicles.
• Report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control and visitor management, following site-specific protocols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while representing Allied Universal at the location.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• X‑ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
