Director, Physical Security & Forensic Investigations

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of physical security measures and protocols.
  • Lead complex financial forensic investigations to identify and resolve instances of fraud and financial misconduct.
  • Develop and update policies and procedures related to physical security and forensic investigations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential security and financial threats.
  • Prepare detailed reports on security operations and forensic investigation outcomes for senior leadership.
  • Lead diverse teams on complex investigations and physical security advisory engagements, including gap analyses and remediation efforts.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum eight years of recent experience in corporate physical security and financial forensic investigations.
  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, finance, business administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CPP, CFE) desirable.
  • Strong understanding of security systems, risk management, and forensic accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without need for employment‑based visa sponsorship. KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity.
