The base wage or salary range for this position is $75,000 - $80,000. What you’ll do:- Key contributor to study design, study performance, data processing and report generation for complex extractable studies.
- Execute extractable studies, extractable‑leachable correlation studies, mass spectrometry‑based method validations, leachable studies and material characterization studies as part of a team.
- Author and compile complex analytical reports for extractable studies, extractable and leachable correlation studies and method validation studies.
- Process complex liquid chromatography mass spectrometry data for extractable studies.
- Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, maintain and repair complex mass spectrometry based instrumentation.
- Prepare samples for trace level analysis using advanced techniques including closed vessel extraction and autoclave assisted extraction. Contribute to generation of white papers, posters and industry presentations.
- Update SOPs to incorporate tests for new instrumentation. Contribute to design and evaluation of tests for use in instrument calibration.
- Assure projects follow current procedures and regulations.
- Write procedures, observations and results in notebooks.
- Prepare standards, solutions, & samples using a variety of techniques.
- Measure, collect and record test data in accordance with written procedures.
- Distinguish good measurements from poor ones and identify appropriate next steps.
- Perform basic calculations.
- Effectively collaborate with colleagues on laboratory techniques, sample preparation, instrumentation, data analysis, documentation, and safety.
- Ensure compliance of company/client SOP, protocols, safety policies, methods, or other procedures with government rules and regulations.
- Use computer systems and software programs – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), data acquisition programs – to acquire and document results.

MinimumRequirements & Qualifications:
- Expected level of experience would conform to:
- BS in Chemistry or related degree + 5 years of work experience
- MS in Chemistry or related degree + 2 years of work experience
- PhD in Chemistry or related degree
- Experience working in a cGMP regulatory environment
- Experience with and knowledge of LC/MS, including the Thermo QExactive and Exploris 120
