Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Operating various analytical instruments, including ICP-OES, automatic and semi-automatic titration equipment, GC and GC-MS, LC and LC-MS, low field NMR, dynamic viscometer, FT-IR and FT-NIR, GPC/SEC, TGA and DSC
• Participate in method development for new parameters where applicable
Learning Outcomes:
• Gain experience in analytical chemistry procedures and instrumentation
• Exposure to various analytical instruments and polymer analysis
• Develop working knowledge of analytical techniques and troubleshooting
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Looking for student currently enrolled in chemistry major, or chemistry-adjacent major with/or chemistry minor. Students who are currently sophomores going into their junior year, or students who are currently juniors going into thier senior year of college, are preferred.
- Strong chemistry background and theory of various chemistry instruments and analytical chemistry techniques and procedures
- Interest in analytical chemistry and instrumentation
- Aplicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this position.
