Food Product Development Specialist

Location: Englewood Cliffs

Our client, a leading innovator in the food industry, is seeking a R&D Data Scientist to join their dynamic team. As a R&D Data Scientist, you will be part of the Research & Development department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

1 Year**  (extension possible)

** What's the Job?*
* + Lead and coordinate R&D activities to deliver innovative brand programs.

+ Represent the R&D perspective in technical discussions across cross-functional teams.

+ Conduct technical risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.

+ Define technical project briefs and translate brand insights into superior new products.

+ Design and execute testing protocols for product development, including prototype and shelf-life testing.

** What's Needed?*
* +  
** Master of Science Degree in Food Science or an equivalent field** .

+  
** Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese,
** both written and oral.

+  
** 7+ years of experience in the food industry, especially in product development or project management** .

+ Proficiency in SAP PLM/Minerva and specification creation processes helpful

+ Strong formulation expertise in cooking aids and related technologies.
