Location: Montvale

Our client, in consumer goods industry, is seeking an R&D Lab Tech - Analytical Chemistry to join their team. The ideal candidate will have organizational and multi-task skills to display a degree of flexibility regarding changing task priorities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: R&D Lab Tech - Analytical Chemistry

Location: Montvale NJ (fully onsite)

Pay: $30.00 hr

Contract: 1 Year Contract

Schedule: Full Time - 35 hours per week, M-F Day Shift

What’s the Job?
  • The successful candidate will be actively contributing to maintaining a clean, safe, organized environment in the lab and assisting with routine analytical tests.
  • Manage SDS files, chemical inventory, laboratory supply order, and hazardous waste disposal.
  • Maintain laboratory records in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice standards.
  • Maintain, monitor, and calibrate laboratory equipment in a ready and compliant state.
  • Assist with routine tests utilizing various analytical techniques.
What’s Needed?
  • BS/BA in Chemistry or Material Sciences is preferred or an Associate Degree in Chemistry with minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in an R&D analytical laboratory setting.
  • NEW GRADS welcome to apply! (Chemistry or Material Science only)
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Detail-oriented and self-motivating, seeking information from others to accomplish objectives.
  • Knowledge of LIMS labware Software applications is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of analytical chemistry and its related technologies, such as LC, GC, FTIR, and wet chemistry techniques, is desirable
