-based women's fashion company specializing in evening and special occasion apparel. They are now looking for a Fashion Sales Assistant
.
Up to $65k plus bonus
Position OverviewThe Fashion Sales Assistant supports the wholesale sales team within an evening wear division. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is highly motivated, organized, and eager to gain hands‑on exposure to showroom operations, buyer interactions, and wholesale order processes. Strong attention to detail and a proactive, can‑do attitude are essential for success.
Responsibilities Of The Fashion Sales Assistant- Support wholesale sales operations before, during, and after market appointments.
- Assist with showroom setup, merchandising, and appointment preparation.
- Coordinate samples for appointments, markets, and internal needs.
- Enter and manage wholesale orders accurately within internal systems.
- Monitor order updates, changes, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare sales materials including pricing, line sheets, and product information.
- Maintain communication with buyers regarding orders, product updates, and follow‑ups.
- Support relationships with department store and specialty retail partners.
- Assist with reporting, tracking, and general administrative sales tasks.
- Coordinate images, samples, and materials for account and sales needs.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with production, logistics, and internal teams.
- Occasional travel for market support.
- NuOrder or JOOR experience is required.
- Approximately 1 year of experience in wholesale, sales support, or related internships.
- Prior exposure to department store accounts.
- High energy, strong work ethic, and willingness to take initiative.
- Highly organized with strong follow‑through and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, in‑person environment.
- Experience with wholesale order management systems (AS400 a plus).
- Exposure to e‑commerce or marketplace platforms.
- Experience supporting specialty retail accounts.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
