Manages relationships with current customers and referral sources. Prospects for additional revenue opportunities.
Job Responsibilities- Contacts customers before and after service to ensure satisfaction and develop additional prospects.
- Prospects and develops new sales leads in assigned verticals.
- Creates, manages, and maintains key relationships with insurance agents, adjusters, and other key contacts.
- Builds product knowledge and refines sales techniques for specific relationship types and verticals.
- Prepares documentation for job file reviews with current and prospective clients.
- Reports on key referral-source relationships weekly and monthly.
- Participates in collections efforts with non-residential customers when necessary.
- Resolves issues with customers promptly.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- 1-2 years experience in Disaster Restoration; IICRC Certifications preferred.
- 6-12 months sales experience or training is highly desired but not mandatory.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and enjoyment of the sales process.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Effective presentation skills for one-on-one and small group settings.
- Good aptitude for basic math for sales calculations.
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally for trade shows, training, and sales activities, including post-catastrophic events.
- Flexibility to work outside traditional hours for networking and social events.
- Proficiency with social media and web-based sales tools.
The physical demands include lifting up to 20 pounds, sitting for extended periods, repetitive motions, and visual acuity for detailed tasks. Work environment varies with indoor conditions and potential exposure to different building environments. Reasonable accommodations will be provided as needed.
